Details

MindMaze is a treat puzzle built for dogs who haven't done much of this before. You hide kibble or small treats in the puzzle, and your dog works out how to reach them — nosing and pawing rather than eating straight from a bowl.

Move the treats around between sessions to keep it from becoming routine. Made from non-toxic, BPA-free plastic.

  • 1. Hide

Tuck kibble or small treats into the puzzle.

  • 2. Explore

Your dog sniffs, noses and paws their way to each one.

  • 3. Reward

Every success pays out — which is what makes them come back to it.

Start easy, or they give up.

The fastest way to put a dog off puzzles is to hand them one they can't solve. MindMaze is pitched so a first-timer succeeds within a minute or two — and a dog who has succeeded once will keep trying at everything you give them afterwards.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this too easy for a clever dog?

If your dog already solves puzzles quickly, SmartPaws is the better step up. MindMaze is pitched at dogs who are new to this.

What size dogs is it for?

All sizes. Small dogs tend to use their nose, larger dogs a paw.

What treats work best?

Dry kibble or small hard treats. Soft or crumbly ones can stick rather than come loose.

Can I leave my dog alone with it?

Supervise the first few sessions, and any dog inclined to chew plastic. It's a puzzle, not a chew toy.

Love it, or send it back.

If your dog doesn't take to it within 30 days, return it for a full refund. No questions, no restocking fee.
